Founded as British Organ Blowing in 1932 by Arthur Fryer, the company initially focused on producing quiet blowers for church organs. With the expertise of factory manager Harold Tomlinson, the business quickly grew and began manufacturing cast aluminium fans and blowers for wider industrial use.

Over the decades, B.O.B. Stevenson Ltd has evolved through a series of strategic developments, including:

• Acquisition of the Gordon Stevenson Fan Company and William Alldays Alcosa centrifugal fan ranges (RB & BI)
• Expansion through the purchase of Flamgard Fans
• A UK manufacturing and sales agreement with Piller GmbH, Germany, for high-efficiency process fans
• Development of the Turngrove range of axial and bifurcated fans
• Investment in modern facilities and manufacturing processes
